Welcome New CFHA Members!!

Welcome Fellow Trapper,

We are very excited that you have decided to join the CFHA and be a part of an organization that is dedicated to Fur Trappers and Trapping.

Our mission statement is:

"The promotion of ethical trapping practices and sound wildlife management through education, strict adherence to trapping laws and collaboration with others who share these ideals."

A top priority of the organization is to provide a solid foundation for its members to come together in the pursuit of trapping. We have made a commitment to keep our membership engaged through the following avenues:

·         A monthly newsletter

·         Trappers Post article in the Organization News section

·         Our website ( www.ctfurharvesters.com )

·         A Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ConnecticutFurHarvesters )

·         A Facebook group ( CT Fur Harvesters )

·         Monthly board meetings open to all members

·         Organizational events throughout the year

·         As well as some things that are still in the works

As a young and growing organization we are in a great position to build this organization into one that all members will enjoy being a part of. We firmly believe that there is a large group of trappers out there who are looking to be part of a proactive organization that is member focused.

An organization with lots of events that get the members together so they can enjoy spending time with other like-minded people. This is the organization that you are now a part of.

Your CFHA membership includes:

·         1 year subscription to "The Trappers Post" magazine

·         Free admission to our Advanced Trapper Training Class

·         Opportunities to get private land to trap

  • Immediate notification of anti-trapping legislation through our social media portals and email.

·         Social networking opportunities with other Trappers

·         Invitations to all CFHA events

If you have any questions please contact anyone on the Board of Directors and they will be happy to assist you. We look forward to meeting you and hearing what we can do to improve the organization. Welcome to the CFHA!

Sincerely,

Tony Szrejna – CFHA Secretary/Treasurer
