Good Afternoon CFHA Members,
At the last CFHA monthly meeting I formally accepted the position of Education Director. I am extremely excited about this new role and look forward to helping bring new Connecticut trappers into the fold in the coming years.
Unfortunately, our team has not taught a trapping course since the pre-pandemic days and with the trapping season right around the corner, we do not plan to teach another course until 2022. Our goal is to teach two Basic Trapping Courses and two Coyote Land Trapping Courses in 2022.
Currently, Eric Schupp and I are the only certified instructors. We are actively seeking others to join our team. Please reach out to me if you would like more information about the CTDEEP CE/FS Instructor program. Teaching new trappers is extremely rewarding and fun. We would love to have you on our team!
